If PPC Advertising is a billboard, then PPC Publishing can best be described as the landowner of the land that the sign is on.

Everyone wants to make money online. Not only does everyone want to make money, but let's be honest - we wouldn't mind not having to do a whole lot of work to make the money, right?

That's where PPC publishing comes in. It's a way for you to get paid by simply putting someone's advertisement on your website. You don't even have to sell anything if you don't want to. Does this sound familiar? Ad revenue programs like Google AdSense will match your website content to advertisements with similar content. You will have no control over what ads show up on your site.

If you want to get into PPC publishing, you can enroll with an ad revenue program like Google AdWords. Another way to get into the publishing aspect of Pay Per Click is to just place the ads on your website yourself. You don't charge any fees to the companies for having their ads on your site. You only get paid each time a visitor to your site clicks on the ad. Seeking out the companies that you'd like to advertise on your website insures that you will be aware of exactly what advertisements will show up on your website and can tailor them to suit your audience, thus resulting in more clicks - and more money.

Of course, you still have to maintain your website. PPC Publishing will just make it a little more rewarding.

Yahoo has had an affiliate program through Commission Junction, but with the merger between Yahoo and Bing I think its being phased out or changed.
